Experience the 40th Australian Anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical CATS, returning to Theatre Royal Sydney from June.
Adapted from TS Eliot’s ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’, this "groundbreaking musical" (Daily Express) comes together in a sparkling fusion of music, dance and verse.
On just one special night of the year, all Jellicle cats meet at the Jellicle Ball where Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, makes the Jellicle choice and announces which of them will go up to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
With "timeless music, spectacular sets and a superb cast" (Daily Mirror), breathtaking choreography and of course the unforgettable ‘Memory’, CATS is a magical musical like no other.

TICKET DELIVERY
Please note that any tickets bought for CATS at Theatre Royal Sydney will be sent to you closer to your performance date, no earlier than 1 June 2025.
AGE RECOMMENDATION
This production is suitable for the whole family, but it is best suited to ages 5 years and over.
DURATION
The production runs for approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval. Show times are subject to change.
ACCESSIBILITY
Select this option if you wish to purchase one wheelchair space and one seat for a registered Companion Card holder. This option will allow you to purchase two tickets together. Please ensure a Companion Card can be presented upon arrival at the Venue.

Group booking discounts are available for CATS. Varying discounts are available for Groups, Concession Groups, and School Groups.
Standard groups of 8-20 can be purchased online for all performances.
School groups of 8-20 can be purchased online for Tuesday to Thursday performances and Sunday evening performances.
Concession* or seniors groups of 8-20 can be purchased online for Tuesday to Thursday performances and Sunday evening performances.
